FARGO, N.D. - The Nodak Mutual Insurance Company Board of Directors elected Eric Aasmundstad to serve as the president of Nodak Mutual Insurance Company Friday, November 21, in Fargo.

Aasmundstad, Devils Lake, will begin his new position immediately. He has served as president of the North Dakota Farm Bureau for the past nine years and will continue to serve both organizations as president. He will replace outgoing President Doug Goehring of Menoken. Aasmundstad has also served as Nodak Mutual Insurance Company's vice president since 2002.

Also Friday, Nodak Mutual board member Bill Devlin was elected vice president and the board of directors welcomed two new members - John McConnell of Casselton and Doyle Johannes of Underwood.
